I will be upgrading the processor and RAM on my rig. I will get another stick of DDR2 800mhz. Firstly, how much does brand matter if I want them to run in dual channel. I currently have a corsair stick. Could I use a PNY stick and get away with running them in dual channel. I have never had a computer with enough specs so I don't know anything about 64 bit windows. Will I need 64 bit to run my 4gb of ram? Does my hardware support it?

Brand does not matter, it should work fine. And no, 4GB of RAM is the most 32-bit can handle, so you're fine.
