Can I make my own photo uploading program or server?

Like what PhotoBucket and ImageShack do?

I upload them, and get a URL or an IMG and post it.

Yes but good luck programming it...

Basically you'll need to create an upload form that will upload the files in your FTP. That's how you get the URL.

I recommend PHP for the form, but seriously, good luck lol

are setting up your own server for this?? i dunno much about programming. I would like to learn such programming languages, can you recommend a good website which provides free tutorials? and also can you give me which language is to be used?

You can manually add photos to your server and get the link, but being able to upload them and have the site give you the link will be a bit more difficult.

I bought a book on PHP. I suggest you do the same...

I suggest using summin like gallery or coppermine, download and install it on your server. There easy to use and takes no time to set up.
