Upload picture issue with new Firefox 49.0.1

I think my FF was updated yesterday (automatically) to 49.0.1

I can't upload any pictures to my favorite photo site (dpreview.com) anymore after the update. After clicking OK on the image, the browser just went into waiting mood forever. That only happen on FF. I can upload with Edge.

I have another computer with FF, but not updated yet, and I was able to upload with that too.

So, the problem seems to be version 49.0.1

Anyone having the same problem? And what course of action to take, other than using another browser?

If you are concerned about the latest updates, you should use Firefox ESR instead: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/

You're less likely to run into bugs like this.

How is it different from 49.0.1? And it said it is not for individual.

Who is it not for?
Individual users who always want the latest features, performance enhancements and technologies in their browser without waiting for them to become available in ESR several development cycles later.

This is why you'd want it if stability is your main concern over the latest and greatest features, which from time to time have bugs. The general releases get released, bugs get fixed, features get refined, then that release becomes the ESR release down the road once it's rock solid.
