I use belkin 1100 and 1000 for my TV and PC respectively. I've changed the 'alarm off' selections for power failure. Yet when the power fails (or i test pull the plug) the alarm comes on. What I am doing wrong?
UPS how can I shut off alarm?

in the configuration under each instance, you can turn the alarm off by clicking on each box
for instance i think the first box is regarding power failure. I click the box next to it, it opens up, i uncheck the 'sound alarm' box and it does 'take' yet the alarm will go off if i pull the plug.
If i go back and check the option box, it is still unchecked, meaning the alarm should be off for power failure

Most either have a button on the unit itself or a set of dipswitches somewhere that will disable the alarm.

yes attended you can turn it off but i'm thinking of my poor cats ears when i'm not home lol
or...if we are home that it doesnt wake us up
