Upside down laptop

So i was sitting there with my old laptop and thinking, What can i do with it? I have a heaps better one and like i never use this old baby. Then it hit me. Have you ever seen those DVD players in cares were they flib down? I wanna do that but on my desk :D I have a top bit of my desk so i can easily put it upside down with a bit of hammering. But itll have ubuntu and be used for MSN and movies while gaming but all i wanna no is can you flip the screen in ubuntu? We always do it on windows at school but is there a way to do it on ubuntu? Please dont shatter my idear :D
 
i dont really understand what you mean. you want to mount your old laptop upside down so the screen is hanging down then flip the picture so it is the right way up?

um well it would be possible... just not sure how. but you get stuck into teh hammering for now :)
 
yeah with nvidia control panel. im writing upside down now. its really weird. and its impossible to use the mouse haha.
 
like the others said...use ur graphics stuff thingy ma shingy wa thingy da lingy whatchyamacallitinisity wingy fruity pooty loopy noope masthing

Sigh I think i got 1 helpfull post by Mr.T? You dont have to have intel GPU, You can do it with nvidia. I have an On board GPU in other lappy so how i do there?
 
i ment your gonna be doing it on ubuntu right? therefore the windows control panel ways arent gonna work...
 
so we need someome with an ubuntu solution. thats all i was saying. all we've had so far are windows solutions.
