URGENT: Flash drive isnt working

Hi,

My flash drive isnt working, when I plug it into the computer some error message comes up "Code 10", I tried to fix it when I when into device manager and I checked whether its working or not and an exclamation mark comes up in a yellow triagle and it says error "code 10" and i dont know what code 10 means.
I have a project saved which i need can anyone tell me is there any way to retrieve the information, I would really appreciate if anyone can help me get the information back

Have you tried a different computer? If you pulled up the device manager and it said that, it could be the USB port. But, if it's the USB drive, then no, there's really nothing that you can do. Sorry... :(
 
i've tried different computers but there all Win XP, do you think i have a better chance if i try windows Vista.
