Hey people,

I have a Lenovo SL 400c laptop which i got 10 months earlier.

The charge carrying capacity of my laptop has come down to 60%.
I have a 1 year replacement warranty. So i want to get it replaced.
But the problem is i will have to bring the capacity to around 20% to get it replaced. And without doing any physical damage.

Please help me out.

That is strange. Call them up, and complain. Tell them that the battery is brand new, and already at 60%. They should offer to replace it. If they don't just rant about it, and see if they will. However, as for actually destroying your battery, I have no idea.

Also, no need to double post.

Do you constantly keep your lead plugged into your laptop so its charging itself 24/7? Alot of people do it and thats how battery capacity decreases.
