Hey all, I have an older HP Pavilion laptop, a ZE4805, if that helps matters. I purchased and installed a PC card USB 2.0 convertor, and installed it and the associated drivers taht XP told me that it needed in order to work.
The issue is, if I connect my external USB HD, the hard drive responds and works fine. If I connect my iPod, it will go through the motions of installing the hardware, and as soon as the bubble in the corner pops up that says Found New Hardware
isk Drive, the system displays a BSOD then reboots too quickly for me to read what the screen says.
What would cause this issue, and how would I fix it?
Thanks!
