USB 2.0 or IEEE 1394a?

I'm thinking about getting this external HD but one has IEEE 1394a and USB and the other has just USB. Is the one with IEEE 1394a worth it or USB is just fine?

Firewire tends to be faster overall, but either or should be pretty similar.
