hi im loking to buy a usb 2.0 pcimia card for my laptop. whats the difference between one that costs $40 such as http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1501961&CatId=0

and ones that cost $15 such as http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=723748&CatId=0

is the only difference the brand?

The brand! (And maybe in the longggggg run...reliability)

But...jump all over the cheap one. It will work just as good or better. And hey, if it breaks, buy another and break even with yourself if you had of bought the other one.

Only difference is the brand, the HP is obviously going to be more expensive. I'd go with the $15 one.
