usb 2.0 port

hi...

my pc got 4 usb 2.0 port....n all got some problem....there are two problems, which are:

1. every time i plug a thumb drive it, sometime can't detect n sometime make my pc hang....i try to plug the thumb drive to other pc...n work properly...

2. i have many usb mouse, but there's only one mouse can use in my pc....i try to use all the mouse can work properly in other pc.

so, i decide my usb got some problem....is there any way to get my usb good back? or do i need to install any software?

Make sure that you have a USB 2.0 driver, and that it is current. Somtimes that is all you need, but if that doesn't help, I would try another device on another port and see if that works.

what os are you running ?
did you install the servicepacks ? (w2k & xp)
have you set your bios to 1.1 & 2.0 usb ?

win xp pro pack 2 bro....this problem fixed...i think my mobo got problem....the usb port is only the starting....after that my pc cant dtect bios at all..now using new mobo...tq bro...
