I have an mp3/mp4 player which is brand new due to a RMA. My previous mb worked fine with the usb 2.0 cable, and my new motherboard doesnt want to recognize this device. I have installed like motherboard drivers along with about 10 usb 2.0 drivers. It says it supports usb2.0 in device manager as well as in the product description. It is turned on in bios but it still says unknown device in device manager. It recognizes the mp3 player while in usb 1.1 , but it doesnt recognize it with usb2.0. Anyone have any suggestiosn on what else I can try, because Im all out of ideas. I know it works, but I need to get it to work first.
