Hmm wasnt sure where to put this thread... but anyhow.
Whenever i plug in a usb 2.0 device, eg. an ipod. a balloon pops up saying bla bla i should plug it into a hi-speed device or something. My motherboard is an Epox EP-4G4A. On the Epox website, it specifies that my motherboard contains usb 2.0 ports, but in the manual it doesnt say anything about that. ive tried looking for drivers for usb 2.0, but i think i saw somewhere that it should be included with windows xp..

Look around on google. Yes, most of the time you don't need additional drivers, but I did find some USB 2.0 drivers for that mobo using google. Though they should also be on epox's site.

I actually had an epox for a while(AMD based) I didn't have it long enough to really play around with USB, but I heard many people complaining of USB problems. Maybe that's something that runs in the epox mobos...

Hmm i just found drivers for usb 2.0 driver. installed them.. didnt change anything. the usb 2.0 drivers on the epox site are for win 9x etc. thanks anyway the_other_one.

Did you happen to take a look in your BIOS to make sure all 2.0 ports are enabled? The BIOS these days can be funky.
