Usb 3.0 docking station (not working!!)

I just bought a usb 3.0 SATA docking station and a 1tb seagate to go with it.

I've put the hard drive in it, plugged it all up and chucked the power on. The usb auto install comes up and successfully installs. The drive however is inaccessible. How do I make it work?

If you go into control panel, then administrative tools, then into computer management, then under storage go to disk management. You should see your harddrive there, sometimes your computer will reconize the hdd is there but for some reason wont read the letterpath that it was set on, so change the letterpath and you should be good to go or before that try reformatting if it shows up in the computer folder.
