Usb 3.0

im currently waiting on a corsair 200r case, which has 2 usb 3.0 ports in the front, but my gigabyte z97-sli mobo only has one 3.0 slot. Is there a y splitter or something I could get?

I do believe one usb 3 cable will support 2 ports, just like usb 2.0 does.

Also, I bought 1600 memory, but my Pentium g3258 only supports 1333 apparently. Will it still work?

Yes, it will still work. The motherboard supports 1600mhz without overclocking.
