Hello all, I was curious as to whether or not there was a way to have a USB device, such as a hard drive, operate on two computers at the same time with a cable with three ends. This is probably a stupid question, but I think
I have seen this on a OneTouch external HD that I have seen. Thanks for the help!

Unless the drive was made for this type of operation, and came with two separate USB cables and ports, then I don't think so.

See, the problem is, the computer that I want to share it with is not and cannot be on the network, as the Ethernet port does not work and I do not have the network key for the wireless (it's a laptop). Thanks for the help. though.
