USB and playing movies on LG 37LF7700

Hi,

I'm confussed, my parents have a cheaper LG tv and if you plug a flash drive into the usb port, it's easy as hell to watch a movie.

However, I've just bought the LG 37LF7700 and when I plug the flash drive into the USB port, it seems you can only listen to music or watch photos !!

Any ideas on whats going on here ? I should be able to watch movies directly from the USB right ? Any ideas would be great.

Does the manual for your tv say it supports movie playback? If so it should also tell you the types of files that it plays so be sure your using the right file type. Dont assume that because one model does they all do.
