USB cord to pc mic cord?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to cut the cord on a comuter mic and wire it somehow to a usb cord

I was wondering this because my dog chewed up my audio jack on my pc mic, and was just looking for a quick fix, i know there are several wires in a usb cord and only the one and a ground in the mic

even if this can be wired, will the pc reconize it and find the proper software

Sorry if this a ignorant question, im just not familiar with this and i appreciate any help
 
No sir... why don't you just reattach it to the same cord? Or buy a new mic for 10 bucks.

Edit: oops sorry, the dog chewed the port, not the wire!

Thanks for the fast reply, it chewed up the piece that plugs into the pc, it nawed it all the way down to where i couldnt splice it there isnt enough cord left on that end , i could fix but need to solder back and i dont have a soldering gun,
