usb device over current status detected

You probably have too many usb devices connected to your computer and your internal usb ports cant handle the power... Id get a powered external hub to connect some of your devices to so they dont draw as much power off the motherboard.

Having too many deviced plugged in could certainly cause this issue, but there are others that should be checked before going out and buying hardware.

1. Unplugg all USB device at boot and see if the message appears still. If not get the hub. If it doesn't go to step 2. Note you could also have a bad USB device, if it only does it when a certain device is plugged in.

2. Check all internal USB connections and unplug. If it goes away you found the problem. If not go to step 3.

3. After writing down your settings reset your CMOS. If problem goes away your good. If it doesn't go to step 4.

4. Try updating (or rolling back ) your BIOS. If this works your good. If not disable your internal USB and get a 3rd party USB card or new mobo.
