USB drive not recognized

What's ya think? I connected a USB drive and heard the sound of the connection, but it didn't show up in File Explorer. I then looked it up and the attached is what I found.

So, two questions: What happened and how do I fix it?

Incidentally, I don't have problems with other flash drives, just this one.

You need to delete the partitions and then reformat the whole drive as 1. It will then show up.

Well, I didn't have an option to delete the partitions, so I did the "New simple volume...," to the 211MB and 7.13GB partitions because the other showed healthy. but now I have what is shown below. If I try to format the two partitions on each end, it tells me that the drive is offline. If I try to change the drive letter, it says that it cannot find the file specified. These things are never easy for me. For the one in the middle, the only option I have when I right-click it is "Help."

How appropriate.

What does the top of that window show?

You should see something similar to this.



You may need to download a partition manager program like minitool partition wizard and delete and format it from there.

If you are still having issues then the drive may be failing.

Well, I used the MiniTool Partition Wizard. I didn't go about it exactly the way you said, but I can now use the flash drive as it can save items now.
