usb drives?

what has a faster transfer rate usb flashdrive
or a usb hard drive ?

ive been looking at a portable flash drive but
for the same price i cant get the one in the link that has more storage .



but i cant find what speed the drive or type . any advice would be appreciated.

Depends on the USB standard eg usb 1.0 or usb 2.0 or the new 3.0.
I would say flash is quicker than usb Hard drive but not by much in my opinion... I think usb hard drive will give better value for money than flash in terms of storage capacity.

i was thinking the same thing sense an hd would add
seek time .

it looks like the usb hd would be more expensive there's nothing to a flash drive
