I'm looking to buy a USB drive after the holidays, but I'm doin some research now. So far, I'm thinking of getting a Lexar JumpDrive Sport: (http://reviews.cnet.com/Lexar_JumpDrive_Sport_USB_Flash_Drive_128_MB/4505-3240_7-30790655.html)
I'm thinking that 256mb should be enough for my day to day intention of use. I'm also hoping to spend less than $50 (probably going to be on ebay, lol). What have your experiences with USB Drives been, and what do you reccommend?

i prefer quantity over quality.

so plain and simple, the best bang for my bucks. not really in for the model or type of falsh drive it is.

so that 1gb listed would do great. even though 256 might do it for you, it wont hurt to have that extra 744

yea, i would go for the 1Gb. I have a 256, and while it handles most of what I need it to, the extra space would come in handy enough to justify the cost. Plus, I can't imagine these things being so complicated that it's worth paying premium for a well known brand.

Nice, thanks for the responses. One thing I really liked about the Lexar I listed is that it got pretty good customer reviews, and the rubber cap is nice. The cap alone can stay on the keychain while you use the drive. A couple people even reported sending it through the wash by accident without any problems. Thanks again,

Tom

I'd wait until they go onsale at a store, i bought a 512MB from staples for only $30, and they had 256MB for around $20. And brand name doesnt really matter, just go with the cheapest one.

I have no problem with it at all. It works great, better than the floppy drives. I brought my at bestbuy. I think there still on sale or rebate.
