USB Install Issue

I have an HP desktop that I'm attempting to install an Inateck 4 port usb 2.0 to usb 3.0 pcb. I can read files on each port but when I attempt to boot from 3 bootable thumb drives on any port, the drives are not displayed in the bootable device list. I'm unable to register on Inateck forum to ask the question. Thank you
 
You can only use existing usb ports in order to boot because the driver for your hardware isn't used until windows loads.
