USB Panels

Have had my dell xps 400 for around 4 or 5 years now. It's getting a bit outdate. So looking into building my own computer. Been doing some research and messing around and i've stumbled onto one question. The case i'm looking to buy has 2 usb ports in the front. The mobo says it has 6 USB rear panel ports, and 4 on-board usb.

Now, does that mean it has a total of ten? Like the onboard ones are the ones that will get plugged into my case?

Also if anyone wants to recommend a mobo in the ~100$ range. Looking for one with onboard video(With HDMI)/audio, ddr2 or 3 doesn't matter. Prefer intel and haven't made up my mind about what processor yet.

Trying to build the tower for around $400 using Hard drive and possibly ram from my xps.

the mobo has 6 ports on the back, and four headers on the motherboard. if you buy a case with two, you will only have eight usb ports. buy a case with four ports.

(example, the coolermaster storm scout)

Yea, but I mean 10 in total. Not whether they are usable or not. Thanks. Any advice on mobo? I edited my post.

Not sure on Mobo yet, but I think I'm getting this case.
