My mother board have 3x usb connectors

USB 7, USB 89 AND USB 1011

What is a difference between them?

USB 7 have 7 pins (10-3) and rest have 9 (10-1)

Could not tell you why the one is pinned differently. They are all usb 2.0. I looked at the manual and it doesn't explain it either.

I was looking for answer in my manual too but couldn't find it. Maybe 7 pin can run less usb ports at the same time. I mean my case have 4xUSB ports in front panel and when I put the cable in 7 pin connector I was able to run only 3 ports. Maybe the one port had some kind of bug or something but now is working fine when I connected to 9 pin connector.
