USB Ports Not Working For XP!! Please Help!

I just reformatted my pc and my usb ports were working, but now they aren't. So I can't use my mouse and keyboard because both are usb and i don't have any ps/2 slots anyways on my pc. I can't reformat because my pc doesn't find a keyboard..........Is there anything I can do to fix this??
 
I am unsure what to do with those 101's.....i have a dell pc with just usb ports and none of them work after i just reformatted, but they did work a few days ago and then stopped
 
Download and install USB drivers, or right-click 'My Computer' then 'Properties', 'Hardware' and 'Hardware Managment' and intall from there.
