Give us some more info on your computer.

On buying a hub:
Try everything from amazon.com (type in: usb hub) to tigerdirect.com

I know a lot of people on this forum like newegg.com, they have a bunch of usb hubs for sale.


Check out as many trusted sites as you can to find the lowest price and check out the reviews of each product
 
My current computer only has four USB ports which is not enough but I'm looking at buying a new computer which is why I was wondering what the maximum number of ports a desktop can have. If the maximum number is only four then I'll buy a hub.
 
You can buy internal hubs as well..



It all depends on the computer.



I have a new DELL 8400 it has 6 USB ports in back and 2 in front
