USB1 and USB2

I bought a Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 motherboard and it has USB1 and USB2 which I want to use. Does each USB support 2 USB ports so what can I buy to get it to work. I should get 4 ports out of it but I don't know if it's USB 2 or USB 3?

No, the motherboard has usb 2.0 and usb 3.0. Usb 1.1 is old technology and new motherboards won't have it. Each usb header on the motherboard itself will support 2 usb ports on your case.

Blue = USB3
Otherwise, USB2.

USB2 ports support USB1.1 data rates but it's ridiculously slow (11 mbit).

Also, USB3 headers look more like:

He's referring to USB header 1 and USB header 2. Yes, each header supports 2 ports. Usually the front USB ports get connected to these headers, or you can but an add-on card that fits in the expansion slot.
