use hard disk as Virtual RAM

Hi,

I'm using a quite old computer and my computer's RAM [PC-100, 64MB], and the maximum is (126MB x2)very expensive.. Since i'm a student, i have not much pocket money... So, is there any alternative for upgrading my RAM ? but, i'm not refering to the pagefile in XP, because i've tried that too...

The pagefile is no substitute for actual RAM. If you only have 64MB of ram I don't think you should be running XP, you are better off running windows 98 or something. I don't see any other alternative but upgrade because what you have should be in a museum. If you still want to use it, you will have to an old operating system and programs.
