At my old school each student was given an account which they would log into and you would save work onto a virtual hard disk that was most likely on the servers, this allowed for the systems to be re-imaged whenever necessary without loosing data and so the students could use which ever computer they wanted.
how would i go about setting this up myself?
lets say if there were 20 people that needed to be given accounts and 20 computers on which they needed to be able to log into?
the main aims of this would be to allow for the people to use which ever system they desired... and so there work could be monitored and so none of the data would be saved on any single computer.
so what exactly would i do? is there some sort of software that would allow this? or would i have to have a server networked up to all the computers and like setup user accounts or something?
thanks for all your help
