On the left hand side right under the title of this thread you will see the "User CP" being the user control panel. Click on that and then the "edit options" and look right under the "messages and email notifications".
The first item is "Receive Email from Administrators" where you check off the box seen there. Right under that is the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" where you simply select "instant email notification". That's all there is to it.
