Using 2.5inch IDE in Desktop?

no. You will need a caddy adapter, making your hadr drive bays 3.5" to 2.5" and possibly cable adapter, but that depends on the hadr drive and what connectors it comes with
 
do you need the hard drive fitted in permenantly or is it just for storage ? if its just for storage and doesnt have to be permenantly fitted in case, you can buy a kit at maplins for £25 that plugs into usb port and you can plug in any sata or ide drive 3.5 and 2.5
