using CMD (command prompt) help??

hi
i am trying to talk to people though the network (45computers)and i thought that command prompt would be ok to use??
what do you think?
and do you know a command to link and chat between computers???
help piz

Oh crap, what was it...? netsend? There was some command you use use with NT based machines... You'd type something like netsend * Hi And it'd send Hi to every machine on the network. Otherwise you'd use the IP address(s) for the machines you want to send messages to.

yep "net send" works great. You will need to have the msg service enabled, and one (by default it is)...

Then type in the command prompt "net send computername" or "net send workgroup"

You can do it by ip aswell.
