Using my laptop in the Sun - Screen !!!

Hi all,

This summer, I would like to be able to take my laptop out into the garden and use as normal, ie watch a movie and surf the web etc

The problem I have is that I can't see my screen in the sun !!!!

I've had a quick look and the only solution I can find is things that look really old fashioned (ex soviet union style !) and basically a box !!! like this:

I was thinking there's got to be something better than that no ?? Any ideas would be great.

yeah try and get some shade and all will be well! im the same!

nothing better than watching some vids in the garden in the sun!

be sure to put a bag of ice on it so it doesnt overheat

Nah but in all seriousness, nothing is amazing at countering the sun with laptops apart from a nice shade spot somewhere. Just be sure to sit facing the sun rather than having it behind you regardless of where you go .
