Using the Internet in China

Basically my cousin is going over to Beijing for a while, has a laptop with wireless on it, what's the best way to go about getting roaming internet in china?

That's a negative, at least not where my grand parents live. I'd be lucky to get 150KBps download in early morning when the lines empty.

And you can usually pick up wifi signals around coffee shops in major cities and such in China.

Japan has super cheap 100Megabit... Plus in china the internet is censored

S. Korea has the fastest, afaik
