Using the monitor to play on an Xbox 360

I don't really know much about this kind of stuff so I'm asking the experts here. I have an Acer AL1716 monitor, would I be able to use it as a TV to play on a 360 (assuming in HD)? If I am able to, would the specs of my desktop have to do with anything or is the only important thing be my monitor?

I appreciate any help. :)

Yeah, this is what I'm going to do. Would you be using the monitor with your PC as well? Either way, you are going to have buy the Xbox 360 VGA HD cables. If you are using the monitor for your PC then just plug the monitor to the PC using the DVI port.

Although, to get any kind of audio you are going to need to buy a 3.5 mm audio jack. It's only about $3.
