It freezes... when? A little more detail on the freeze ups would help. Often problems like that will turn out to driver related(video or sound card). New system, old system? On an older system wear and dust buildup will see temps climb where hardware problems can be realized.

A bad dimm of memory, a failing expansion card, read/writes heads on a hard drive, weak battery on the board itself, etc. are common hardware related issues. Some general system information would also be helpful.

When does it freeze ?
Is it the same program that causes it or does it happen at any time ?
Is there anything common that you are doing on the computer when it happens ?
How do you "unfreeze" it, does it require a reboot or does stopping and restarting "explorer.exe" in Task Manager cure it ?
