using windows 7 pro and briefcase

I have on a secondary drive D: with Picture folder, backup folder, Utilities folder etc. for the life of me i can not figure out how to do it. i would like to goto a usb drive. How can i sync the drives. better yet can i sync everything on a d: drive internal to a usb external drive.

i do not want to go into each folder with a brief case then sink.
i have a directory now for trial called test1 and test2 on the d drive. i copied 8 pictures to one and the original still has 12.
how can i make this happen.

I have one program i did install that works well (i think). I tried it as a trial. its called syncback. also has many options for backup. Different kinds of backups.
worth looking at.

Put them into a breifcase (right click -> new -> breif case). Then put the breifcase onto your USB drive. (this is going from memory, I totally ditched windows after several "issues" with vista and 7 and the discovery of linux.)
