before i start, i just hope nobody is gona start jumping down my throat for discussing it here since technically, torrent isnt illegal. okay, so im using uTorrent. the icon at the bottom on the uTorrent window is always the triangle with the exclamation mark. i tried testing if the port could be forwarded but as IE was loading, it brings up a message saying that the certificate of the page is expired or something. if i click ignore the msg and continue, it would load the utorrent page where it says the port is open. the thing is, it happens only on my new com. my old com is connected to the same modem, with all the same security softwares installed and IE7. can any1 help?

i always have this problem (when torrenting linux :)), but i still get good speeds, around 600KB/s for a good torrent.

it has to do with port forwarding, but i've never been able to figure it out.

Hmm...try a different site. http://canyouseeme.org/ Is a great alternative.

I have no idea whether or not the OP speeds are slow, but if they are, i followed the directions on here to speed up my torrenting and it helped a bunch. Before i was lucky to see 300Kb/s, now 600 kb/s is easily seen.

a few days ago, my utorrent gave me yet another problem. whenever utorrent is on, my msn would disconnect every minute. any idea why?
