uTorrent Help

uTorrent has been running fine on my computer untill today. For some reason now uTorrent keeps telling me that i have no incoming connections however when I check the port that im using it says that it is forwarded properly, can anyone help me?
 
Check your firewall. If you changed anti-virus software or installed a new one today (and it has a firewall) make sure uTorrent is not blocked.
 
Could be your ISP. I know I've heard of my ISP blocking peoples torrent connections due to file sharing. I doubt that though, make sure you disable any firewalls you have running and if that sovles your problem than you will have some tweaking to do with your firewall.

Did you forward the port on your router, or just your firewall? If you did forward the port through your router then make sure that it is forwarded to the correct IP address. Lets say your internal ip address is 192.168.1.106 and you forwarded port 2011 to that address but then your ip address changes to 192.168.1.101 then it won't work. The best way to assure that this doesnt happen is to use static ip on your computer vs. DHCP, so that way you get the same IP address everytime.

+1 for this.

It is almost mandatory tpo use a static (non-changing) ip address when using utorrent.

What i do is, instead of going through all that BS is, just to change redirect the ipaddress on the router setup page everytime i get a problem.
