VGA port problem

Hi
I have an emachines T2384, when I plug it to the monitor, it said that is not connected. I checked tha power supply and the fun. All works fine; also, the monitor is working fine with other cpu. I guess that the problem is from VGA port. Any suggestion on how to fix this port(attached to mobo), or should I change the whole mother board.
thank you

If the GFX is not connected you would not see an picture. I suggest goign to BIOS and disabling the GFX slot.

Hmm, this error rings a bell as a bit of problem. First of all remove the RAM, it seems a bit odd but the PC will beep several times if the motherboard is working without the RAM in, if it doesn't then we have a problem as no beeps means a deeper problem.
