VGA to DVI?

Hi. I have a video card and I want to run duel monitors on it. I basically have 2 VGA cords, but on the card is only a VGA port and a DVI port.

Will a DVI to VGA allow me to put the converter on the end that connects into the DVI spot? Or do I need VGA to DVI? Does it go both ways?

Thanks.

PS: Both monitors are LCD's, each with a VGA and DVI port in them.

VGA to DVI would be pointless because the signal wouldn't be digital in the first place..

What I would do is run DVI to your main monitor and run VGA to the one on the side.. or you could simpy get a DVI to VGA adapter and run both VGA.

I'd recommend finding a way to run at least one DVI monitor, they look much better IMO.

OK, but here's what you don't understand.

I have >>2<< video ports. ONE is VGA, ONE is DVI...but I don't have a DVI cord, so how can I plug in the DVI? The 2 monitors have VGA and DVI ports.

No, I understood it, just didn't know if you had the ability to get a DVI cable, it would give you better picture if you could get a DVI cable but if you cant, just get a DVI to VGA adapter.
