Hi all, I am wondering what equipment I need to connect my computer, tv and games console to a Lcd 32in tv. I have a(I think) VGA sis650 display adapter in my comp, I am looking for a LCD tv(32in) but dont know what I need to connect to, or what tv would be suitable to connect all.

Does anyone know what I need to do, Im kind of a novice so dont know where to start:confused:

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Cheers STP

Okay well some unless your TV has a VGA input on the back, you are going to have to get a video card to do that. Depending on what you will be doing on the TV, it is probably a good idea anyway, since most motherboard chipsets can't handle games in the first place. Slamming high resolution games on it shouldn't help. What do you plan to be doing with the TV? Gaming or just everyday computing?

Video cards come with 2 DVI ports and an S-video output. Many TV's have the S-video output for you to connect the video card to the TV. If you have a TV with an HDMI port you could get this.

This converts the DVI output to an HDMI output. If you have an HDTV you could also get this.

You can get a nice video card cheap now, depending on what you are going to be doing with it. You won't have a problem connecting the games console to the TV unless you only have one set of HDTV inputs (RGB) and you use the XBox 360 with the component cables and you use the HDTV adapter for the PC.
