hey i got a vga adapter to a monitor on my mother board and an agp video card connected. for some reason i cant do dual head. anyone know?
 
You're trying to use onboard video and AGP? That's not possible. When you insert an AGP card, onboard video is disabled. If you had a PCI card, you could use that and onboard, or that and your current AGP card...
 
You can only do dual monitor on the same graphics card with two outputs, or you have a sli system. Also some Asrock motherboards will let you run an AGP card as well as a PCI-E at the same time on selected motherboard and with selected graphics cards. I haven't tried it before but I have heard its very unreliable.
