I'm looking for software that will work with a capture card, that I need as well.

I need to take either all or parts of a VHS and transfer them to a DVD and burn it.

I'm not sure if this is all of them, but I need to buy it from Microcenter, since I need to do this within a few days, and I can go to MC tomorrow.

Again, not sure if that's all of them, just searched "capture card".

Thanks.

Lol, there's one in stock at my store, but will something like that work? So anything with an S-Video? Will my GPU work?

And what's some good software that will work.

Thanks.

I have one plugged in alongside my graphics card (is this what you are asking?).

Yea, something like this will work.

It's actually pretty simple:
  1. Plug the thing somewhere into ur mobo
  2. atatch the crappy feelings s-video dongle
  3. plug the sound part of the dongle into ur inline
  4. plug your vcr's rca cables into the dongle
  5. you are good to go.

Umm..i know there is something called VirtualDUB that should work with these kind of things, but i never got it to work. My KWORL thingy (from newegg) came with some software that is sued to capture the video of it.

IIRC, i used Nero also, but the picture came out green (????) So now i just use the included software.

If your's doesn't come with it, i would be happy to send yoe the ISO of the PVRworld software majiggy.
