Video camera that record

Hi, I'm not sure if I am in the right area, but I need a webcam or spy cam. My mother has dementia. I would like to keep an eye on her when I am at my job. She often hide or losses item, and she can't remember where she hid it. I thought if I had a camera that could record video when I got home I could see where she put things like her purse or rings. Can anyone make any suggestion? I like small because I don't want her feel like she being watched all the time.

It think it would be better to have a CCTV camera where you can cover your entire home.
