i just bought a pixel view tv tuner with capture
http://www.qmb.co.nz/p.aspx?100425

and i want to play a video on the vcr and watch it on the
computer with sound, and then burn it to a dvd...
all i've got it to do so far is to capture colour video with no sound
because there are no rca ports for sound only video.
and then i used th s-video cable (4-pin) with 2 rca pins,
when i plug the svideo cable into the capture card an the rca pins to the video and audio ports on the vcr all i get is a black and white picture with no sound.
how do i get the audio to work????

thanx

*takes deep breath* Sorry if you saw that last post...it's late and I'm a little grumpy I guess...

You should have a jumper cable that goes from the audio out on the cap card into the line-in on your soundcard. By the looks of it, on the out side. There are also some that use cables like CD-ROM's, but I don't beleive you'res has that. If you don't have that cable, then just get a converter and go right in to the line in on youre soundcard.
