What is a good reliable program to capture video I see on the Internet that is either streaming or already recorded? Please list a program that I can download without having my computer being filled with unwanted junkware and toolbars. Thank you in advance. This forum is a great resource.

Mozilla add-on called DOWNLOAD HELPER.
With it you can download ANY video from ANY website.
It also has SCREEN RECORDER (screen capture) which you CAN use to record the playing video from a web site...

I use it ALL the time and it just rules and the best thing is that it's FREE. :good:

Here is how it looks like:

Yeah there is a cost involved with camtasia but you get a lot of program for the cost...remember not only do you get the screen capture part but you also get the ability to edit and export the video into different file formats so that you can upload/use them for all that you need.

Bengal thanks for answering, but according to the site that program cost $300.00.

That's why I gave you a free alternative which is great.

Download helper already offers some free automatic video conversions as soon as it downloads the video.
If that is not enough,he can AGAIN use a free program called FORMAT FACTORY which can convert almost anything into anything.

Cheers!
