Video Card Advice

Hi. I want to upgrade my PC for improved performance in games (like WoW, Command and Conquer 3, etc). I currently have a 7600 GT, and have a max budget of 150$.

My question to you guys is, should I buy this 7600 GT for SLI:

or just get one of these 8600 GT's

The 8600 would probably have a slight edge over the SLI'ed 7600's, but even so, over-all, single cards are typically better. Some games don't work too well with SLI.

Get the Series 8 card or the new Direct 10 ATI card if you have any card lower than these two you won't be able to run the next gen direct 10 games. the sereis 8 is supposed to be equal to two series 7 cards in sli.

Looking at 3Dmark 06 scores from the 8600GT's, its not THAT much better than the 7600GT, I think you should hold off, get more cash, before investing on a new card.

8600, or get more cash like elitehacker said (unless you've already narrowed it down to those 2)
