Video card and motherboard

Hi guys

I seriously need your help.
I have a ASUS P4P800 SE motherboard, and I have just bought a Club 3D HD3850 video card.
These things should work fine together, but is it possible that they don't?

But I have a problem, when I have connected the video card in the computer it starts fine until I get to the desktop and I want to install the driver, then the screen turns blue and white text appears and it says "system failure..... and all the stuff" and I can do that again and again. How do I install the driver?:S
Can I turn off the "blue screen"?
 
Can you put the card in ok? I'm showing that the motherboard has AGP 4x/8x while the vid card is PCI-Express x16
 
Yes it fits in the computer because, the video card is the AGP version.

But does anyone know how to bypass the "blue error screen"?
